Texts on CD-ROM
Ancient Greek Texts:
The best resource is the Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (TLG), which contains all extant Greek texts from Homer up to 200 AD, plus some texts after that. It includes, of course, all of Aristotle, Plato, the presocratics, etc. The CD must be leased, it cannot be purchased. See the Web site for details, prices, access software, etc.
Ancient Latin Texts:
The best resource is the Packard Humanities Institute (PHI) CD-ROM, which contains all extant Latin texts up to 600 AD, plus numerous biblical texts. Like the TLG, it must be leased. Contact The Packard Humanities Institute (PHI), 300 Second Street Suite 201, Los Altos, CA 94022

A CD-ROM of the Patrologia Latina exists, but is priced so high (~$60,000) that it is probably out of reach of most scholars. Those at major research institutions may have access to it, however.
Other Collections:
Library of the Future. A CD-ROM containing many of the major texts of world literature and philosophy, as well as several other subjects. All are in English. The CD-ROM sells for ~$40.
CCEL. A CD-ROM containing many of the major spiritual classics, including many philosophical works, and also the major texts of the early church fathers. Very reasonably priced at $33.50 including shipping (in the U.S.). For further information and table of contents, visit the Wheaton College CCEL project web site.
Gutenberg Project (Germany). A CD-ROM containing major literary and philosophical texts in German. Very reasonably priced at $40 including airmail shipping (outside of Europe). For further information and table of contents, visit the Gutenberg project web site. The web site also includes all text on-line. Major philosophical texts from this site are referenced below.
